Our wedding is finally over, but now it's time to carry the practices we followed and the goals we set for our special day into our married life. We aim to buy less, use less, and make less waste, and to lead healthy, happy lives for ourselves and the planet.

Gift Registry

Surprise!  We're not registered anywhere for gifts.  We are already blessed (or cursed?) with an over-abundance of worldly goods.

We would like, in lieu of gifts, for you to consider offsetting your carbon footprint in traveling to our wedding through Native Energy.  (For a discussion of carbon offsets and their pros and cons, go here.)

For those of you already in the Bay Area, please consider arriving at the picnic in the most earth-friendly manner you can.  Our venue in Tilden is difficult to get to by public transportation, but you can carpool with other guests you know.  And some of you probably have it in you to arrive by bike.  You'd be the coolest people at the party, at least in my book.

If you really want to give us something, we will welcome homemade items.  We know a lot of creative, talented people, and we'd absolutely cherish anything made by hand and with love.  (Please keep in mind, though, that the bride is vegan.)
